I’ve always felt as though dark blue & black don’t exactly match.. & Then I also feel like jackets shouldn’t be worn with dresses. But I’m attending a formal event this Saturday night & there is no way I’m not going to wear a jacket. Would they look okay together?
The dress isn’t like a ball dress. It’s more of a cocktail dress than that.
Sort of tight? Like, all the way down the body & it sort of flows out a little at the bottom?

I’d love if you could help!

I’m 13 – Small/Medium frame, Pear-shape.

This is a Father & Daughter dance, so keep it sort of modest.
(Catholic School)

Any color.

Last Thursday night i was at JCPenny in the junior section looking at social dresses for my 8th grade formal and i saw this dress:

and fell in love with it! i KNOW it is the dress i want after trying on about 25 other ones!! At the store, the dress came in sizes S, M, and L. and they only had S and M and i am a L. so i found it on the website but it only comes in plus sizes!!! Can i go to the store and ask them to order a large for me!? Please help.

i was invited to one not too long ago, and i am only 17, so i don’t want to choose anything to tacky. no bare midriffs or unreasonable crazy zebra prints. I just want something simple. I love the white, but if need be ill get it in a black or dark blue to tone down the standout factor.

OK, sucked it up & bought a ticket for the premiere. So should I wear my pirate wench costume or something along the lines of a cocktail or formal dress? I only have a month to pull this together.

My formal is coming up soon & i haven’t got a dress yet! I plan to wear my low cut white converse but i’m stuck on a dress, any ideas? And i’m not into dressing up a lot, just a nice dress that will make me look presentable
