I wore this dress for 8th grade formal:

It is satin and very fancy.
It was also VERY expensive for a 8th grade dance.
I feel like I need to wear it again.

The only place that I go that I could possibly wear it is Church.
But even then I’d feel too fancy.

I know I could wear Flats or a cartigan, but what else?
I’d STILL feel too fancy.
And How can I make it more summery?

I have to go to this dinner with the theme of "semi-formal"
I’m a female, and I have no idea what to wear. It’s pretty cold up at where the dinner is taking place so I don’t really want to wear dresses or skirts with heels. I was thinking maybe a fancy-ish top and some dark-wash jeans but I hear jeans aren’t allowed at semi-formals.

I’m not really sure what kind of dresses would suit my body type. I’m not exactly fat, but I’m no where near skinny either. I’m quite top heavy (I wear a 10D/32D bra) and so if I wear something strapless or with thin straps I find I look fat and very wide. Although I think that I’m pear shape (my hips are like an inch or two bigger than my bust)

Any suggestions on what kind of dresses I should wear?

Or would I be okay wearing formal pants and a button up shirt?

I’m going to a student State Conference, and the attire calls for "relaxed professional". I don’t know what that calls for. I’ve never been to one of these things… so what are some good teenage stores to find that type of formal professional clothing? I don’t want to overdress, but I definitely don’t want to underdress, which is why I won’t wear the semi-formal prom-ish dress that I have. So help me? Just list some stores that are reasonably priced.

My sister is getting married in a couple weeks, and I’m the maid-of-honor (so I have to look good lol). My dress is a sort of Latte color, and I have fair skin. I’m not really good with choosing makeup. Any ideas of liner and shadow colors?

I thought I should probably add that there isn’t a good makeup store, like Sephora or MAC, within 150 miles of where I live. I’m kinda stuck in the boonies for the summer. I’ll have to do it myself. I wish I could just go to a MAC store and have them do it. It would make my life a heck of a lot easier!

I graduated high school already, and I have a number of homecoming and winter formal dresses just sitting there in my closet. How can i dress them down a bit so that i can wear them again to other special occassions? Btw, some of them are of the silky satin material that is very shiny. Most of them are short, not long prom gowns

Is it ok if I go to my boyfriends formal (different school) and wear this dress again?

I have no idea what types of dresses, shoes, and acessories to wear with black tights. Any specific colors that look flattering with black tights, or a certain length? Or any type of clothing that looks good with tights that are formal/semi formal Thank you for any advice.
