So i want to do a red carpet theme, and my parents own an air port so I’d have it in the hanger where we keep our planes. I was gonna have a back drop with an advertisement for the "red carpet", I know a photographer and I know a lighting guy. So I’d be able to get a discount on things like that. I was gonna have everyone dress up nice, maybe semi formal? but that might be too much.

I don’t party, and I don’t go and get drunk. My parents would be around at the party most likely, so I will not be aloud to have alcohol.. I’m in high school, and some of the people I’m planning on inviting go to parties… is it kind of loserish not to have alc?????

I recently got hired at Gap. I’m seventeen. I pay for all my own clothes, so I’ve never really had much nice stuff. And at Gap we have an actual dress code, and none of my clothes really follow it. Basically, it can’t have labels from other companies and has to be somewhat, but not overly, formal. It has to look like something Gap would sell. I don’t have my employee discount yet. Once I do, I’ll buy a couple things at the Gap.

Can anyone recommend any cheap online stores that I can check out? I’ve already looked at forever 21, but none of the stuff really seems to meet the requirements.. Thank you all

Right now I wear a pair of 310 Duxfords I got on sale a year ago for . I love the shoes, and for months I have constantly gotten comments on them in the workplace.
Unfortunately, they’re falling apart. I’ve been looking for some new, affordable shoes to take their place while still having more style than your run of the mill loafers or oxfords. I also have a dress code, so they have to go well with dress slacks, and affordable (preferably or less when discounted). Point me in the right direction please?

Where to buy quality branded dress shoes(men’s) at affordable price in NYC? I recently moved to NYC and began to work in the financial industry. My work requires me to wear quality collared shirts and good branded formal dress shoes all day long. I am considering buying the dress shoes. But I am not very familiar with brands. Of course I can go to expensive places to buy expensive shoes. However I am a new graduate freshly out of school and I don’t have lots of cash floating. Where are the places that I can buy quality branded shoes at discounted and affordable prices? Where and when are the discounts and deals? Are there places with lots of malls and shops for shoes, something like an outlet, so I can shop at one place for all needs, instead of rushing to different places? I am still not very used to the public transportation in the big city. And I really want to save time. What brands are considered good brands for men? I hope to buy 0-0 shoes at a discounted 0-0 price.

I dont want the party to take place until late summer early fall. Me and one of my girlfriends want this to be a very classy, semi-formal event with an hip hop/urban backdrop. The thing is..I need ideas about venues, and decorations. …I think I want to go with an all black or black and white dress code.

Second question:

Okay, so yes, this question was posted before but was worded wrong, so I’m trying again!

My kids and I are going to a wedding in July. They decided to have the bridal party be semi-formal, because it is going to be so hot nobody will want to be in a tux. Anyway, even the bridal party is going to be semi-formal. The girls are suppose to wear pink dresses, and the bride said that my little boys could wear kaki because she doesn’t want them crying. Do you like these outfits?

You think black or brown for the shoes? I had it black, but then second guessed by decision.

Next Friday is my Junior Prom and I’m a little nervous about it. (This is my first formal dance and first actual date with my new boyfriend.) Our theme is "Harlem Nights" (sort of like the 1920s: Jazz, etc.) What color/style dress do you think I should get? I was thinking a dark color, maybe a dark red or purple. My skin color is almost like a light tan, a little bit darker around my neck and shoulders, so I don’t want to get anything too light that would overly-stand out. Also, my date will be wearing a tux so I’m trying to avoid black.

In addition, what are some of your favorite stores for dress shopping? (Discount or otherwise)

However, I have three bridesmaids and two of my three bridesmaids are polar opposites. My sister is somewhat of a snob, and she refuses to shop online or a buy a dress anywhere but in a store. On the other hand, my best friend is in somewhat of a financial bind and doesn’t have much money. I’d like to find her a suitable dress online or used or discount. However my sister wouldn’t have anything to do with it. Its causing a big fuss, and I don’t have the money to pay for her dress myself (it’s only 130, as you can see) but I know that the other two will get mad if I pay for it or if they even suspect it. Its driving me crazy. I would get different dresses but its a formal wedding and my family wouldnt hear of different bridesmaid dresses.

Is there any way I can find an apple red dress at a store for cheap? Know of any stores??? Thanks so much.
